Course 1 – Alcohol and tobacco: Effects in Pregnant and Parenting Women

The course modules review the following:

  • biological effects of alcohol and tobacco use on pregnant and reproductive age women
  • scope and epidemiology of alcohol and tobacco use
  • social and economic impacts of alcohol and tobacco use by pregnant and reproductive age women
  • screening and intervention for alcohol and tobacco use
  • considerations program planning and evaluation methods to address alcohol and tobacco use in pregnant and reproductive age women

Approximately 8 hours of educational activity.
