For Course I and II, the following organizations are approved for 8 hours of CME/CE nationally.
American Academy of Family Physicians
This program has been approved and is acceptable for up to 8.0 prescribed credit hours by the American Academy of Family Physicians. AAFP Prescribed Credit is acceptable by the AMA as equivalent to the AMA PRA Category I for the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award.
California Nurses Association
This course has been approved for CEU’s from the California’s Nurses Association by the Tucson Heart Hospital #24-04.
Commission on Dietetic Registration
This program has been approved for 8.0 hours of CPE Category I by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
CEU’s:
You will earn 1 CEU for each course completed. Each course is comprised of four modules.
The courses may be completed at your own pace, and you will evaluate your progress through learning activities and quizzes at the end of each module. Before beginning the course, you will complete a short pre-test. After completing the four modules, you will take a post-test. In order to receive the Continuing Education Units, you need to score at least 70% on the post-tests.
